How It Works
Telehealth
I use innovative telehealth technology to provide you with supported and flexible pelvic floor physical therapy. With telehealth physical therapy you get customized expert treatment in the comfort of your own home. Take less time out of your busy schedule and ditch the stress of driving through traffic or finding a babysitter. I use a safe and reliable, HIPAA compliant system that allows us to use the latest in emerging healthcare technology. So stay home, and let me bring the treatment to you, virtually.
Out of network
I am considered an out of network provider with all insurances. What that means is you will pay me directly for treatments, and I will provide you with an itemized bill that you can use to seek reimbursement from your insurance. I also accept FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account).
No referral needed
Ohio is a “direct access” state for physical therapy. What that means is that you DO NOT need a referral from your doctor to see me. One less hoop to jump through before starting your journey to healing.
How to get started
Free consultation
First we will schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. Get all of your pelvic health questions answered in a private and discreet consultation with a trained expert from the comfort of your own home.
Evaluation
Your 60 minute initial evaluation will take a comprehensive view of your symptoms. We will discuss topics like bowel and bladder function, pelvic pain, obstetric and surgical history, current exercise routine, posture, work requirements, and much more. When we finish, I will create a personalized program for you to begin your healing journey.
Treatments
We will have regular 60 minute follow up treatments to determine what is working and what isn’t. I will make adjustments to your plan to maximize your efforts and speed up your recovery.

FAQs
Why are you out of network?
Being out of network with insurance companies allows me to treat you the way YOU need, not the way your insurance company tells me I have to. Insurance companies can have limits on how many visits we have, how long those visits are, or even what we do during the visits. I prefer to treat you in whatever way will benefit you best, without letting insurance companies get in our way.
Don’t you need to see me in person?
This is a common misconception. The most important part of pelvic floor evaluation is identifying the cause of your symptoms. In order to do that we need to have an effective conversation about your symptoms and lifestyle. For treatment, you will be educated on an individualized program with techniques that you can perform from the comfort of your own home. Everything can be completed effectively, efficiently, and virtually!
How do you do a pelvic floor exam virtually?
I will guide you through a self assessment that will involve you viewing or touching your pelvic floor. You can give me the information we need to create a plan that works for you. I can even give you instructions so you can complete the self assessment between sessions if that makes you feel more comfortable.
What should I wear?
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and allows you to move. I may ask you to do different movements while assessing your symptoms.
What Equipment do I need?
For the first session all you need is a device with a camera that will allow us to complete a virtual visit. During the evaluation we will discuss any other equipment you may have access to like a yoga mat, weights, or bands. We can use this equipment to help build your customized program.
Can I have my baby with me?
Absolutely! I want your home program to feel achievable and that may mean having your little one right by your side as you do the exercises. We can even use your baby during the session to practice lifting techniques.
Do you treat conditions other than pelvic floor issues?
Yes! I am also an orthopedic certified specialist and have many years of experience treating generalized orthopedic conditions.
how long are our sessions?
Our sessions will be about 45 minutes. During that time we will discuss what has been working and what hasn’t. Together we will create a plan to help you continue to progress.
Can you treat me while I’m out of town?
Yes, as long as you are still within Ohio. As I am currently only licensed in Ohio, I am only able to treat you if you are physically within the state of Ohio.
